This stunning patented cultivar, discovered here in the early nineties, grows like our common hornbeam but its leaves turn orange and red each autumn. Its seasonal show is up there with many of the better known (but generally more difficult to grow) autumn colouring favourites.
Bagging significant horticultural accolades this is a wonderful tree, since Hornbeam is such an adaptable and reliable species. Demand is always high so order early to avoid disappointment.
